The Inbetweeners’ Jay Has His Own YouTube Gaming Channel

James Buckley, a.k.a. Jay from “The Inbetweeners,” has a YouTube gaming channel aptly titled “Completed It Mate.”

The Inbetweeners star James Buckley, more commonly known for his time portraying the foul-mouthed bullshitter Jay in the Channel 4 sitcom, now has his own YouTube gaming channel.

Buckley launched his channel “Completed It Mate,” a reference to Jay’s habit of claiming he’d completed games before they’d been released, around the start of 2016, but you’d be forgiven for not knowing of its existence. Despite attracting a healthy 191,000 subscribers, Buckley has only recently begun committing to a regular upload schedule, meaning we were completely oblivious to the fact that another celebrity had joined the ranks of YouTube’s gaming commentators.

Over the course of the past month or so, Buckley has had the likes of his former Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas join him on his sofa, playing games from Super Mario Kart through to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Buckley is one of a few celebrities who made the jump to YouTube in 2016, with US actor Terry Crews having also set up an account in order to document his first foray into becoming a PC gamer.

Buckley’s comedic skills lend themselves well to YouTube, though his channel has yet to rack up a great amount of views, with him averaging between 10,000 – 15,000 per episode. You can check out his video with Joe Thomas below:
