2014 WSOP Player of the Year George Danzer Talks 2-7 Triple Draw on Twitch

Twitch, the Amazon-owned video-streaming platform, is steadily gaining acceptance among players as one of the best places to go to on the Internet for poker-related entertainment and instruction. Although the platform had already been used by video gamers for some time, it has found itself basking in the poker limelight only recently, thanks in large part to its adoption by a number of high-profile poker pros including Jason Somerville, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, and Daniel Negreanu.

Recording online poker sessions and providing strategy commentary is certainly not a new phenomenon; such recordings represent the core product of many poker-training sites. However, Twitch differentiates itself by providing a platform that both facilitates live video streaming and encourages viewers to interact with broadcasters in real time. That, coupled with the fact that most live streams are accessible for free (although in some cases special benefits are offered to paid subscribers), the range of options available to players interested in learning more about poker has never been broader.

Fallout 4 confirmed, game coming to PS4, Windows PC, Xbox One

The official Fallout 4 website went live for some a bit early today, revealing that the game will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

In the website’s main image, seen above, we see a dog sitting and staring up at some power armor in a garage, a Nuka Cola machine and a Pip Boy bobble head.

The Fallout 4 Announcement Has Begun

It’s official: Fallout 4 is coming. Bethesda just put up a countdown timer leading up to the announcement, which will apparently take place tomorrow.

It’s curious to see Bethesda announce the game before their E3 conference, which takes place on June 14, but it’s happening. Yesterday, a person familiar with goings-on at the company told me that a 24-hour countdown clock would be launching today and lead up to a Fallout 4announcement this week. Looks like that’s true, although of course it’s possible they’ll drag this out with an extended ARG or other teasers leading up to the 14th.

Fallout 4, a sequel to Bethesda’s 2008 post-apocalyptic RPG, is one of the most anticipated games in recent history, and it’s been driving everyone nuts for weeks now. Back in December of 2013, we posted leaked casting documents indicating the game would be in Boston, but we haven’t heard much since then.

That “please stand by” image, of course, is straight out of Fallout:

The company does not want individual evaluations

Video game streaming service Twitch is announcing that it will no longer allow its users to stream video games that have received an Adults Only rating from the ESRB as it seeks to make sure that the audience is now exposed to any sort of nefarious content.

The company says that it is changing its policy to make sure that it no longer needs to rule for individual titles in the future, a process that left some gamers frustrated.
