This past Saturday, the popular League of Legends-focused Twitch streamer Trick2g was putting on an elaborate 24-hour live event to commemorate the fact that he’d amassed 800,000 followers. He decided to end the stream with a bang: staging his own mock swatting. Come Monday morning, his account was banned.

The company does not want individual evaluations
Video game streaming service Twitch is announcing that it will no longer allow its users to stream video games that have received an Adults Only rating from the ESRB as it seeks to make sure that the audience is now exposed to any sort of nefarious content.
The company says that it is changing its policy to make sure that it no longer needs to rule for individual titles in the future, a process that left some gamers frustrated.

Twitch exists for gaming content. Sure, you can find other stuff on there—music has been gaining more of a presence of late—but it’s still primarily a place to play or watch games. So it’s probably not a surprise to hear that trying to illegally stream a boxing match is considered a big no-no.
Yes, even if it’s the biggest fight of the year…not that this stopped people from trying tonight. There are reports around the web of people who tried to broadcast the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight through their Twitch stream, only to get their channel banned from the service. You’d think people would have the common sense not to do this, but…
