E3 2015: A Bigger, Better Show Built For Everyone

Although the doors to the Los Angeles Convention Center have closed on E3 2015, the buzz it generated continues. The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the world’s premier trade show for computer and video games and related products, always excites. This year, however, planned announcements in virtual and augmented reality, mobile and online platforms, artful indie games and, of course, big studio blockbusters raised expectations higher than ever before. Judging by the headlines alone – The Verge called E3 2015 “the best E3 in years” – the show delivered.

Top Games for July 2015 – Rocket League Edition

What electronic sport is newly popular with the cyber athlete you ask? I present to you cars playing soccer. Rocket League, the sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars (kinda bummed that they didn’t go with 2 Supersonic, 2 Acrobatic), crashed the party and double jumped into the 5th spot of our Top 20. Twitch Streamer Fakes His Own Joke Swatting, Gets Banned

This past Saturday, the popular League of Legends-focused Twitch streamer Trick2g was putting on an elaborate 24-hour live event to commemorate the fact that he’d amassed 800,000 followers. He decided to end the stream with a bang: staging his own mock swatting. Come Monday morning, his account was banned.
